The Office
The series opens with a documentary crew arriving at Dunder Mifflin 's headquarters to observe the workers and learn about modern management. The main characters are added, as are several minor characters. There is speculation about the downsizing that is starting to spread in the office and the possible closure of the Scranton branch. Michael Scott, Dunder Mifflin Scranton 's regional manager, rejects the claims of a spiritual lift.
